We're a tech startup that brings simple, free stock investing to everyone. We’ve built a beautiful investing app to buy real shares, with zero commissions or fees in a fluid, mobile-first experience. And behind the app, we’re building all the technology and infrastructure from the ground up.


As the first challenger stockbroker to disrupt the £1.2 trillion UK retail investment market, we’re poised to expand into Europe in 2020. Our recent Series A investment from leading tech-focused VC Draper Esprit takes our total funding to over $20m, following a series of record-breaking crowdfunding rounds on Crowdcube.


We’re now looking for a Junior Growth Marketing Manager to help us manage and grow customer acquisition across organic and paid channels, as well as lifecycle campaigns. You’ll sit within the marketing team, reporting to the Head of Performance Marketing, working together to test and develop best-in-class acquisition and activation strategies.

What you’ll do in the first 12 months:

  • Optimise and grow our marketing activity through major digital platforms (Google, FB, Insta, Twitter, Snap, Apple store, Google Play).
  • Improve organic visibility via SEO and ASO.
  • Innovate constantly, A/B testing and experiments.
  • Collaborate with PR, social and content teams to improve organic rankings.
  • Test and optimise lifecycle campaigns to improve app engagement and retention marketing efforts.
  • Learn our high-performing referral strategies, and help take them to the next level.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis on acquisition marketing results and optimise accordingly.


About you:

  • You have experience across some or all acquisition channels such as SEO/ASO, email marketing, affiliates, display, paid social, lifecycle, referrals, conversion optimisation.
  • You have an attention to and enjoy diving deep into the detail and make data-driven decisions to support your testing hypotheses and optimisation techniques.
  • You thrive in a goal oriented environment and you relish in delivering tangible results.
  • You like to take ownership and are good at prioritising work within a fast-paced, startup environment.
  • You’re curious and collaborative.
  • You are excited about what we’re doing at Freetrade and where we’re headed!


Logistics:


The application process consists of a short introduction call with one of our Talent team. If progressed you’ll have a phone interview with our CMO. This will be followed by a take home task which will form part of the onsite interview in our offices in Aldgate East, London.
