THE ROLE

We have a new role in our growing organisation for an experienced Growth Marketing Manager to join the team. We are looking for someone who will take the lead in driving user acquisition, retention and engagement, working closely with our consulting partners across paid, owned and earned channels. We have LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram for our professional, family, and lifestyle – Killing Kittens is set to become “The Social Network’ for your adult life.

With an emphasis on user acquisition to drive app adoption and engagement, you'll derive insights from our marketing tech stack to inform on campaign penetration and conversion rates, whilst seeking to A/B test variants to optimise our performance. Having worked in a digital performance/growth marketing role, you'll utilise advance knowledge pixel tracking and of tools like, Mix Panel, Segment and Google Analytics to ensure we remain informed and that we're constantly seeking to outperform.

The Growth Marketing Manager position will see you creating marketing funnels and deploying referral programs to leverage our existing and highly engaged audience, whilst enhancing LTV through the promotion of our premium services.

Additionally, you'll collaborate closely with our SEO consultants, utilising your expertise to add value to our content strategy and on/off page activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the strategic development & execution performance marketing activities to support our application launch and future feature releases promotions.
  • Work closely with the COO to deploy growth marketing strategies that support the wider marketing playbook
  • Oversee all performance marketing activity both agency and in-house with a particular focus on app optimisation marketing, paid social, and leveraging existing users for growth
  • Promoting existing partnerships to key targets and existing users to drive app adoption and premium services.
  • Support the launch of a string of successful events and brand promotions with your digital prowess.
  • Work remotely with our digital team across Europe.
  • Oversee all PPC, SEO and ASO activity.
  • Continually seek and find methods to increase our customers lifetime value, use upselling, retention, and re-engagement techniques.
  • Attend data sales meetings and work closely with our sales team to aid the execution of performance marketing strategies.
  • Closely align with our technical team, social manager, editor, and team of writers, to focus on acquisition, activation, retention, and re-activation.
  • Support the management of and development of the careers of both current and future junior marketing team members
  • Liaise with and manage all outside agency relationships.

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS

  • 4-6 years’ experience in a strategic marketing role with an emphasis on growth hacking/performance marketing
  • Extensive knowledge of audience engagement tools and analytics and reporting software, namely Intercom, Mixpanel, Segment, Google Analytics, Hotjar, Branch and Zendesk.
  • Proven experience in the acquisition of app users - ideally for a social media platform/business
  • Email system- octopus -Mailchimp ability to track, monitor and report on digital marketing performance.
  • Segmentation and cohort data should be in your DNA, ensuring the technical team are tracking events and triggers, and the copy team can write for the correct audience
  • Ready to take ownership of the digital marketing function, have the ability to motivate yourself and others with a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to stimulate the interest of others through your genuine excitement of who we are, what we do, and the message we want to get across.
  • Be ambitious with real creative flair and a desire to get stuck in.
  • Hands on with incredible attention to detail and be able to work under a lot of pressure.
  • Potentially from an agency background, well versed in working with a wide range of different professionals, working within given budgets, and to strict deadlines.
  • Could be in-house, overseeing SEO, PPC and ASO.
  • Experience of working with a start-up/scale up business would be a real plus.
