The Global Paid Manager, APAC is responsible for being the voice of our APAC markets in the Paid Marketing organization. You will drive key Paid strategy decisions to ensure our paid traffic in our APAC markets is growing YoY, as efficiently as possible and supporting Skyscanner’s ambitious goal of having the world’s largest travel audience.

The ideal candidate will deeply understand Paid marketing and champion it’s opportunities across our business. They will love performance marketing and understands its role in business our size and scale. The Global Paid Manager, APAC will be a key liaison between our Global Marketing teams and our APAC Regional Marketing team, ensuring there is trust and we’re aligned in our objectives. They will get energized by finding novel ways to target new audiences, convert them into Skyscanner products and drive revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Global Paid Marketing strategy and team in growing YoY paid traffic, increasing spend efficiency and driving operational improvements
  • Be the voice of our APAC markets in the room, bringing key regional level and market level insights in which to inform strategic decisions
  • Own APAC specific research projects to inform new platform tests, ad copy experiments, creative tests, and other performance channel opportunities
  • Keep a strong pulse on recent trends, popular culture references, and any APAC specific happenings that could inform our Paid marketing strategy
  • Contribute meaningfully to key analyses and reporting for our APAC markets, feeding that back into Global strategy, priorities and roadmaps
  • Partner with content, editorial and localization teams to support scoping, executing and scaling any translation, editorial or content marketing needs specific to our APAC markets
  • Partner with central Marketing tribes across Product, Engineering, Design and Copy to ensure our technical experiences are set up to rank, serve and convert our paid traffic audience
  • Obsess over the latest platforms, ad placements, and partnership opportunities in which to acquire new traffic to serve our growing business
  • Support programs involving agencies, consultants, or freelancers that could contribute to any of our key Global Paid initiatives
  • Lead key training and development across our organization to ensure Paid Marketing as a domain is considered in prioritization across teams, and specifically our APAC market opportunities are understood

Skills and Experience:

  • A number of years of Paid experience, in the consumer technology space
  • Proven track record of executing a Paid marketing strategy that drives traffic growth, increases site conversion and contributes meaningfully to the bottom-line
  • Experience working across Global/Regional structure is highly preferred, but not required
  • Proven track record of delivering key projects involving tracking, attribution, improving C-level metrics and growing revenue
  • Experience partnering closely with Product and Engineering to deliver high quality platforms, tools, and experiences to support our Paid Marketing priorities
  • Strong understanding of Paid Marketing tools, agencies, and players
  • You are an excellent communicator (written and verbal)
  • Passion for building efficient, high performing paid channels to revolutionize our growth curves
