Paid Search (PPC) Executive

  • Job Purpose:

The Paid Search Executive reports in to our Senior Digital Campaign Manager within Sony Electronics and Mobile Online Brand Activation team, to implement best in class Paid Search campaigns.

Their role is to be an expert in PPC Strategy, planning and execution to across both Google, Bing and Amazon PPC platforms. They will provide reporting back to the business showing impact of activity, with the ability to provide detailed insight as well as exec level summary.

Key Responsibilities & Scope for Decision Making:

  • The PPC executive is responsible for managing PPC budgets, working with internal colleagues to plan the needed level of spend across the year.
  • They will be responsible for writing class leading creative.
  • Taking management of AdWords and AMS campaigns, they will be responsible for optimising and developing existing activity, as well as recommending new campaigns.
  • They will create and be responsible for insightful reports, providing detailed analysis on the impact of campaign activity and sharing key learnings. This person will be comfortable in presenting their ideas within both internal and external meetings.
  • This role will report in to our UK Senior Digital Campaign Manager.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree level or equivalent (Digital Marketing or Business will be a benefit)
  • 2 to 3 years’ experience in digital marketing Paid Search (Agency experience to be preferable)
  • Proven experience in strategic thinking, campaign planning and budget management
  • Experience in presenting ideas and plans to a range of levels seniority – internal and externally
  • Hands-on role within a bid management tool will be a benefit.
  • Advanced knowledge of Google’s Paid Search software
  • Knowledge of analytics platforms including GA or Adobe
  • Experience within Amazon Advertising (AMS) will be a benefit
  • Experience in interacting with customers / clients
  • Knowledge/ proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Prior experience working with consumer electronics a bonus
