Commercial & Marketing Department:

The Commercial & Marketing Department have several responsibilities. We manage and optimise the acquisition of new consumers/users/visitors/email addresses into the Excalibur Universe. We achieve this through a variety of ATL and BTL marketing channels, such as Search Engine Marketing, TV advertising, Display Retargeting and Social Media.  We own the optimisation of our websites and try to drive in visit revenue and as well as customer lifetime value.


The marketing team is also responsible for creating, maintaining and running the daily/weekly/monthly/bespoke internal reports and analysis on our business. These reports enable the business to make day-to-day trading decisions and the top managers (CEO, COO, CFO, …) to make big, strategic and financial decisions.


We are looking for someone who is immediately available or on short notice.


Role Summary

This role is for search marketing manager across both Wowcher & LivingSocial. This role will require the successful candidate to work alongside our search agency to develop long and short term strategies for our text search and google shopping campaigns. The focus will be on driving new customer acquisition and growing existing customer engagement. All decisions need to be data driven and in line with CPR, Customer LTV and ROI KPIs.

A successful candidate will:

  • Have 2 – 3 years’ experience in search marketing
  • Have hands on experience with designing and executing paid search campaigns which are in line with business objectives.
  • Leverage data to understand the new and existing customer journey within search marketing, identify areas of opportunity, and execute projects to drive growth and engagement of Wowcher customers
  • Have designed and implemented AB tests, analysed results, and optimized ROI or other metrics
  • Have experience with running and optimising Apple Store and Google Play search campaigns
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to understand commercial implications of data
  • Ability to draw the meaning out of data, tables and charts you analyse
  • You will be required to present data and insight to the most senior figures in the company
  • Be motivated, enthusiastic and keen to progress within an e-commerce marketing team
  • Have an independent, structured and precise work ethic
  • Have a degree in Maths, Science or Engineering


Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Excel modelling experience
  • 2+ years of experience managing a project and/or team
  • Competency with complex SQL queries to mine large data sets
  • Experience with Adobe Omniture and Python beneficial but not mandatory
  • Extensive knowledge of Google Adwords and Bing Ads
  • Experience in marketing, advertising or growth
  • Ability to process and analyse data sets, and interpret them to make business decisions
  • Communication skills, influencing skills, and ability to manage a project or product
