The Media Strategy & Analytics team acts as an internal global media team that handles the strategy, buying, execution, and reporting of all media vehicles with the goal of driving multiplatform viewership of Discovery Inc’s TV networks and direct-to-consumer digital products (Eurosport, Dplay, MotorTrend, GOLFTV, and Food Network Kitchen).
The Programmatic Specialist will lead the implementation and development of the Programmatic channel, maximising customer growth at cost-effective levels. Reporting to the Programmatic Manager, the successful candidate will also integrate cross-functionally, regularly liaising with other teams within Media Strategy & Analytics and the wider business org.
We are looking for a Programmatic Analyst to join our Europe and Africa Disney Media Sales and Brand Partnerships team. This is a permanent opportunity, based in our EMEA head office in Hammersmith, London.
The successful candidate should be a Programmatic advertising specialist that can add their knowledge and acumen to new digital operations group, which has been formed to support an experienced and diverse set of multi- platform sales people.
The principal responsibility of the Programmatic Analyst is to manage the SSP platforms and relationships with all the various agencies and tech partners.
The Programmatic Analyst will work to maximise programmatic ad revenue across web and app, display and video, on and off-platform, while creating a vibrant programmatic marketplace with best in class campaign performance and yield. Working with their manager to develop and implement the digital sales strategy for the division.
The role requires a dynamic problem-solver, who possess a strong digital background, preferably with expertise from other digital publishers and/or related tech platforms. Strong analytical skills are a must, with proficiency in maths and statistics, and the ability to navigate large amounts of advertising and revenue data and communicating this data in a sales organisation.

In this role you will be trading online advertising placements and working to optimise towards client performance goals such as interactions, sales or brand recognition. WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a trader your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
• Setting up and managing client campaigns

• Performance analysing & internal reporting

• Working with the commercial teams on exceeding clients’ expectations
The successful applicant will be able to grow into the role based on their interests: process implementation, internal communication-focused; and highly technical work on statistical models and machine learning techniques.

Reporting to the Head of Online Marketing, you will be the company leader in Programmatic Display, working closely with other marketing channel managers and the wider team to deliver on the company’s targets. With ambitious growth plans, this role’s main goal will be to drive display performance and increase brand awareness, primarily through DoubleClick but with potential to work with other partners.
Your role will be hands-on but also has a strong strategic and decision-making component. You are not expected to just execute a given plan but rather to come up with your proposals and to make it happen… and adapt and improve as we go along.
You will be working with 6-figure monthly budgets and your success will have a big impact on the company’s results and growth. Our display programmatic activity is growing by more than 30% every quarter and contributes to both our brand awareness and more than 20% of our direct customer acquisition, so if you are looking for a role through which to make an impact, this is the perfect opportunity.
